About the Apartment

 

Flocon de Neige is located on the top of three floors (with a penthouse above) in the first apartment building within the Domaine de l’Ariondaz. The apartment is easily accessed via a lift which opens directly outside the front door.

 

The apartment comfortably accommodates up to six adults, although it is ideally suited to four guests sharing in comfort.

 

There are two well-proportioned double bedrooms, both offering beautiful valley views to wake up to. One bedroom features a traditional wooden double bed, triple wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The second bedroom has two modern twin beds, a triple mirrored wardrobe and bedside cabinets.

 

In the open-plan living area there is also a comfortable double sofa bed, which is quick and easy to set up. This area can be closed off at night if privacy is required.

 

All bedrooms are fully equipped with pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels.

Style & Practicality

 

The apartment has been completely renovated from its original 1960s décor and now features solid wood flooring throughout, creating a warm and contemporary alpine feel.

 

The entrance hall provides generous storage, with cupboards for ski equipment and boots, along with hooks for coats and salopettes - ideal after a day on the slopes.

Kitchen & Dining

 

The fully fitted kitchen is located just off the dining area and is well equipped for self-catering. Appliances include a fan-assisted oven, ceramic hob, large fridge, microwave with combi grill, air fryer, toaster and dishwasher.

 

You’ll find ample cutlery and crockery, along with saucepans, a wok, frying pans, cooking pots and a full range of utensils. There is plenty of storage in the large cupboards and drawers, and a small supply of essentials such as tea, salt, pepper and sugar is provided.

 

 

 

Living Area & Entertainment

 

The lounge is a comfortable and sociable space, featuring a four-seater corner sofa, a two-seater sofa bed, a coffee table, and a dining table with seating for six.

 

For entertainment, the apartment is equipped with a TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker and a media player with hundreds of pre-loaded films and TV shows. There is also a good selection of board games and books. We are hoping to add in-apartment Wi-Fi in 2024.

 

Free Wi-Fi is currently available in the main block of the residence, and mobile phone signal is very good for personal devices.

 

 

 

Balcony & Views

 

A balcony leads off the main lounge area and looks down towards Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel Village, with stunning views across the valley and back up towards La Saulire in the opposite direction.

 

The balcony is south-west facing and enjoys direct sunshine throughout the mid-afternoon and evening, making it an ideal spot to sit out and enjoy the views after a day on the slopes.

 

 

 

Bathroom & Comfort

 

The bathroom includes a bath with a fixed overhead shower, double sinks and a heated towel rail. There is also a separate toilet located off the central corridor.

 

The apartment is warm and cosy throughout, with central heating and a constant supply of hot water - so no cold showers, even if you’re last in.
