You will never be short of places to hire ski equipment from in Courchevel 1650, with at least 8 different shops on the main roads. However, if you like to plan ahead there are a couple of online sites, like Intersport, who offer discounts for booking in advance, but we think you'll find the going rate in the resort is about the same wherever you go. Expect to pay around €10 a day for ski hire for basic needs and more if you want specialist skis or boarding gear.

The excellent 'Unplugged Courchevel' site has added a list of all ski hire shops in the resort close to 'Flocon de Neige', so please click on their link below:

To be honest, we have only ever used New Generation for lessons and they are excellent. They are based in the town and all instructors speak English & French. They are very popular (especially in peak weeks) so you would be well advised to book lessons in advance of your visit.
